Valpolicella takes its name from the valley northwest of Verona, located between the city and Lake Garda. The name probably derives from the Latin 'Valle poli cellae', i.e. valley with many cellars, which testifies to the ancient vocation of the area.
Bright ruby red in colour, with a fragrant, intense and very fruity bouquet; dry and harmonious on the palate. It is recommended to uncork it at least one hour before serving.
